Carlow County Council have supported and funded a Musical Instrument bank under the Music Generation Carlow programme. It was identified that a large barrier to children and young people being able to access music education was the affordability of a musical instrument. In 2017 Carlow County Council funded a Musical Instrument Bank under the Music Generation Carlow programme.
