Carlow County Council has announced that 1,103 businesses in County Carlow have received just under €3.5 million in grant funding under the Government’s Increased Cost of Business scheme.

Carlow County Council has announced that 1,103 businesses in County Carlow have received just under €3.5 million in grant funding under the Government’s Increased Cost of Business scheme.  

74,716 businesses have received grants across the country with €241 million paid out to businesses nationwide.

The ICOB grant was designed by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment to help SME’s with the increased costs associated with running a business and was administered by the Local Authorities. 

Mr. Coilín O’Reilly, Chief Executive, Carlow County Council has said that Carlow County Council is pleased to play its part in supporting business across the County through the implementation of this very important grant scheme.
